Mughlai Grill Indian Cuisine is a hidden gem that has completely won me over. The food is nothing short of exceptional. What truly touched me was when the owner himself took the time to share his samosa recipe, even showing me the unique spice blend he used - a level of transparency and personal attention I've never experienced at other restaurants. The staff's warmth and attentiveness matched the outstanding quality of every dish, from the aromatic biryani to the velvety butter chicken. For the best Indian food in New York paired with genuinely hospitable service, and ambience.

Love this place. No frills, and the owner stands on business and lets the food speak. He welcomes you in like you're stepping into his home. Service is impeccable. My favorite dishes include the achar gosht, kalmi kabob, gosh boti kabob, adraki chaap, the list goes on and on. Every dish I've had here has been incredible. I'm grateful that I live so close. This spot is always on rotation, you'll probably see me there.

Visiting from Las Vegas and came across this gem. Seating is efficient, but not tight and the restaurant has a comfortable feel about it. The staff is so kind and very helpful. A special thanks to the gentleman with the hand cast who recommended the tandoori, the chef's specialty! For 3 people we chose the Gohbi Manchurian appetizer, 2 tandoori dishes, saag aloo and garlic naan. The dishes were flavorful and naan had the perfect texture. The staff was amazing, very friendly and quick to offer assistance, suggestions and refill waters. We highly recommend this dining option for anyone lucky enough to be in the area to partake.

The food is exceptional and the service is outstanding. Kabir is wonderful and welcoming. We always have a great time at Mughlai!

Great food. Low key restaurant with very friendly service. The tandoori dishes were excellent!

Amazing food and service! The staff is amazing and makes everyone feel at home. It is the best Indian food I've had in the city. Definitely go for a cozy dinner!!!

Amazing food! Every dish is packed with flavor and the host is fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

How do they fit so much flavor in a such a small establishment?!! We came in from out of town and were looking for top notch Indian food. This place was awesome ! My partner is from Punjab and agreed that the flavors were very good. The level of spicyness was adapted for me as I'm sensitive to super spicy food, and I was grateful. Also, portions were very generous. We were just 2 people but could have easily shared with another person. Chicken tandoori: was the best I've ever had. It was just enough for 2 people. Biryani: very flavorful, not too spicy. Palak paneer (spinach & cheese): soooo good & not spicy. Baingan bharta (eggplant): fantastic flavor with a spicy kick. Naan: fresh and soft. Must have! If you're around the area, give this place a try. It lives up to the Yelp reviews.

Yummy!! I was craving lamb chops and this place had great reviews so i decided to try it. We started off with a complimentary basket of papad which was tasty and properly cooked. Sometimes i've gotten them either stale or undercooked at places. Then we ordered the green salad. The salad was pretty large and had lettuce, tomatoes and tons of carrots. It was fresh though i want not crazy about the dressing. It tasted like kraft italian. I asked for some chat masala and then helped the tasted a good bit. For the main course we ordered two of the lamb chop dinner. It came with rice and we ordered bread as well. We could easily have shared just one order. There was plenty of food. The lamb came with some yummy onions and peppers. I ordered mine spicy and it was so delicious!!! Service here is extremely attentive and so friendly. The best part is that the pricing is very reasonable. i'll definitely be back!!
